Inaugrated in 1907, the LA Auto Show is one of the automotive industry’s most illustrious events. Held over the course of the Thanksgiving weekend, the LA Auto Show creates a spectacular buzz, year after year. Here, we take a look at some of the prized supercars featuring at this year’s event.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
The latest electric SUV whose most basic model achieves 0-62 mph in less than 8.0 seconds. With the 75 kWh battery and RWD, the Mustang Mac-E provides a 280-mile range.
With a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine closely resembling the Lamborghini Urus, the RSQ8 may just be the next best thing to it. Churning out 592 bhp, it achieves 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds but remains limited to 190 mph.
Mercedes-AMG GLS 63
The seven-seater supercar’s 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine is capable of producing 603 bhp and, with its large capacity, is suited for families in a rush!
Volkswagen ID. Space Vizzion
Not exactly a supercar, like the others on display at the LA Auto Show this year, this Volkswagen estate’s 82 kWh battery offers an impressive range of 367 miles. With the option of adding a second motor, this powerhouse can potentially become a 4WD capable of 355 bhp in total.
The Lexus LC Convertibl
With performance metrics yet to be announced, the scalped luxurious Lexus coupe maintains its original 0-62 mph timing close to the 4.7 seconds mark.
Building only 3000 of the variant in total, 575 are set to be delivered to the UK, costing £35,000 apiece. Its 2.0-litre BMW engine can produce a jolting 302 bhp.
Audi e-tron Sportback
The electric SUV coupe offers up to 240 miles on a single charge. It also features a set of digital matrix headlights designed for directional precision.
James Bond Land Rover Defender
The latest in James Bond specification supercars makes its debut at the LA Auto Show 2019.
